Margot Frank: was the elder daughter of Otto and Edith Frank and the older sister of Anne Frank. Margot's deportation order from the Gestapo hastened the Frank family into hiding. According to the diary of her younger sister, Anne, Margot kept a diary of her own, but no trace of Margot's diary has ever been found. She died in Bergen-Belsen.
Mrs.Miep: was one of the Dutchcitizens who hid Anne Frank, her family (Otto Frank, Margot Frank, Edith Frank-Holländer) and four other Jews (Fritz Pfeffer, Hermann van Pels,Auguste van Pels, Peter van Pels) from the Nazis in an annex above Anne Frank's father's business complex, during World War II.
Mr.Krayler: was one of the people who helped hide Anne Frank and her family and friends during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. In Anne Frank's posthumously published diary, The Diary of a Young Girl, he was referred to under the name Mr. Kraler.
Mr.Dussel: as a German dentist and Jewish refugee who hid with Anne Frank during the Nazi Occupation of the Netherlands, and who perished in the Neuengamme concentration camp in Northern Germany. Pfeffer was given thepseudonym Albert Dussel in Anne's diary, and remains known as such in many editions and adaptations of the publication.
